Kim Nam-Gil is currently acting the role of Han Yi Soo on KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama 'Shark.' While shooting for the sixth episode of 'Sharks,' Kim Nam-Gil was injured while acting a harsh action scene. On the 14th, Kim Nam-Gil's management company explained, "It seems like he was injured while falling after an action. He had to finish shooting before the morning came so he finished shooting enduring the pain."

However, on the second day, Kim Nam-Gil pleaded a serious pain and went to the hospital. According to the hospital, Kim Nam-Gil has a fine crack on his ribs and will need at least two to three weeks of rest. The management company conveyed, "With the production crew's consideration, he rested for three days from Monday to Wednesday. Due to the drama schedule, he returned to shooting receiving painkillers. He still pleads pain when he's going over the speed bump in his car."
